The 11 Days trip to Uganda starts from Entebbe with activities ranging from White water rafting, Gorilla Trekking, Chimpanzee Tracking and Game drives and ends with the Kampala City tour. 11 Days Trip to Uganda Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe National Park

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will meet and greet with a representative from crowned crane safari who will welcome you to the Pearl of Africa and transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe for overnight after a short briefing about your upcoming safari activities.

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park

After a very early breakfast at your lodge, you will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park which is home to half of world’s mountain gorillas. During the drive into the countryside, you will stop at the equator shortly after Kampala for photos and later have lunch in Mbarara town. Later you will continue further southwest via Kigezi rolling highlands to Rushaga where on arrival you will check in to your Lodge and relax in preparation for the Gorilla Trek the next day. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 3: Gorilla tracking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast at 07: 30 AM you will attend a 30-minute briefing at the park center to learn the rules and regulations. You will later walk on foot in the forest in search for gorillas though sometimes you will encounter with other primates. On finding the gorillas, you will be allowed 1 hour to see and take photos of gorillas as they feed on vegetation. Later you will return for lunch at the lodge and later transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. This area is famous for lions and an evening game drive will give you a chance to encounter them as well as spot other mammals such as elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kob, bushbucks, and warthogs. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 4: Game drive and boat cruise at Kazinga channel

After breakfast, you will go for a game drive through Queen Elizabeth to Mweya peninsular for a boat at 3pm in the afternoon. The boat on kazinga channel is a great place to observe wildlife such as huge populations of hippos, Nile crocodiles and lots of birds. Dinner and overnight at your lodge

Day 5: Game drive and transfer to Kibale forest national park

At 06:30am you will wake up and have a cup of coffee and snack after which you will enjoy another game drive in kasenyi game tracks where you can spot elephants, Uganda kob, lion, warthogs and if lucky nocturnal creatures like a leopard, hyena, and mongoose. You will later have lunch in Fort Portal town and after embark on a tour of the scenic crater lakes all the way to kibale forest. Check in for dinner and overnight at your lodge

Day 6: Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi wetland sanctuary walk

After breakfast you will be transferred to the park headquarters for briefing on how to see chimps. During the chimp trek in the forest by the help of the guide you hope to see chimpanzees and other primates such as red tailed monkey, colobus monkeys, L’hoest monkey, and blue monkeys. Return back for lunch and after transfer to Bigodi wetland sanctuary an ecotourism project run and managed by locals under kibale forest association for rural development.  The board walks offer access to walk in the wetland with a guide learning about flora and fauna including primates, birds, and medical uses of various plants. The local people managing Bigodi are well known for their gifted hands, you can check out souvenirs to support them before you return for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 7: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, you will transfer from kibale via Albertine lift valley to Murchison falls national park Uganda’s largest conservation. It is home to big five African mammals with rhinos still in captive breeding at Ziwa rhino sanctuary and over 400 species of birds. The park is also bisected by world longest River Nile which creates world’s strongest Murchison waterfalls. If your accommodation has swimming pool it will enable you swim and relax from the long drive. Dinner and overnight at your lodge

Day 8: Game drive and boat cruise

You will start your early morning game drive at 06:30am after having a cup of coffee. You will explore the burigi game tracks with your guide looking to see elephants, lion, leopard, giraffe, zebra, Jackson’s hartebeest, Uganda kob, patas monkeys. Later return to relax at your lodge till afternoon when you will go for a boat cruising on River Nile to the devil’s cauldron and return while spotting hippos, Nile crocodiles and a variety of birds. Diner and overnight at your lodge

Day 9: Rhino tracking and transfer to Kampala

After breakfast, you will visit the top of the cliff to view the strongest waterfall in the world after which you continue to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary to embark on a guided rhino tracking on foot with a ranger as you learn about the conservation of Rhinos. After seeing the rhinos, you will have lunch and drive back to Kampala, the capital of Uganda arriving late in the evening.

Day 10: Visit Jinja city and white water rafting plus the source of the Nile

For those who love white water rafting, today you will go for a half day white water rafting excursion to Jinja city at the source of River Nile departing as early as 6:00am. Spend half day rafting the Nile and then return to Kampala late in the evening.

Day 11: City tour and departure

After breakfast, you will visit Kampala’s popular attractions including Uganda museum the oldest in east Africa with a collection of over a million specimens and from there you visit the kingdom of Buganda palace in Mengo hill  where you find beautiful sculptures along the royal mile walk exhibiting the totems of different clan’s culture and customs. Finally, you will visit Gaddafi mosque and climb up the 50-meter tower to take photos of Kampala spreading over 21 hills, shop and later transfer to
